Farrelly Report 11/21/2010

Farrelly Report- 11/21/10
Hello wrestling fans, I’m here with some more APEX news. The APEX Academy has been pumping out new talent for the new APEX at a fast rate. Today I’m going to talk a little bit about what the Academy is and how it works.
First off, the main goal of the new APEX is to have a variety of styles and matches that appeal to all wrestling fans. ECW had hardcore, great technical wrestling and Lucha Libre. WCW had the great cruiserweights as well as the power and appeal of old school American style wrestling. That is the same dynamic will have in the new APEX. To do this, we’ll need a core group of wrestlers who excel at these different types of styles. That is where the APEX Academy comes in. Instead of having a head trainer, The APEX Academy will have a group of trainers, each specializing in a particular style of Professional Wrestling. The trainers are as follows.
Wiley Jack- Specializes in old-school, Southern Style wrestling. Jack is, of course, the original co-founder of APEX and was the reigning Heavyweight Champion of APEX before selling the company. He has agreed to return and train the next generation.
The Crimson Mask- Specializes in technical and shoot style wrestling. Like Jack, Mask is the original co-founder of APEX and was co-holder of the Tag Team Championship in the old APEX. Crimson Mask has also returned to manage his protégés, Crimson Mask II and Crimson Mask III, as they pursue a Tag Team career as the new Crimson Masks.
Bubba Brock- Specializes in the Hardcore/Ultra Violent style of Pro Wrestling. Brock is a veteran death match wrestler who knows how to wreak havoc in the ring and has come to APEX as a trainer/wrestler to wreak havoc and to teach such.
Mr. Lucha- Specializes in, of course, Lucha Libre. Mr. Lucha has mesmerized audiences all over the world with his high-flying style. Mr. Lucha has also come to APEX as a trainer/wrestler.
That is it for this edition of The Farrelly Report. Look out for the next edition coming your way very soon. The focus will be on the first graduating class of the APEX Academy. Pictures and profiles will be up for each wrestler and there will be info on the first show of the new APEX!

Farrelly Report- 11/06/10

Hello loyal APEX fans and wrestling fans alike. I am former APEX commentator Jim Farrelly. As many of you may already know APEX has closed its doors. Wiley Jack and The Crimson Mask have called it quits. They just couldn’t see eye to eye on how to make things work and that resulted in APEX folding just as it was getting off the ground. The reason I agreed to work for this company in the first place was that I have been a lifelong wrestling fan and I believed strongly in the ideas and concepts this company was based on. I will be damned if I just sit by and watch what could be potentially be the best thing this sport has seen in years just crumble and fall in the toilet.
I have sunk every last dollar that I have to my name into buying what is left of APEX. I am currently in the mitts of bringing this company back from the dead and putting it back on track to what it was meant to be, a fun, exciting and highly competitive wrestling promotion that appeals to all types of wrestling fans.  It isn’t going to be easy and it is going to take some time to get APEX back on its feet. We won’t be doing shows right away. Money is at a minimum and we simply don’t have enough to rent venues and pay outside talent at the moment.
For the immediate future I am opening the brand new APEX Academy wrestling school to ensure that APEX will have a wealth of home grown talent to anchor the promotion for years to come.  APEX needs a solid core of wrestlers the fans recognize and can identify with after losing some of its biggest names that include Dex Reed, who many thought was going to be the franchise of APEX. The APEX Academy will be a huge step in giving the new APEX a base to build on.
That is all I have to share for now on the Farrelly Report. Next time I will talk more in-depth about the APEX Academy, as well as, update you all on the status of APEX.
