            Hello again APEX fans, Jim Farrelly here with another APEX report. First things first and that is APEX will return with its one year anniversary show on Saturday, January 29^th at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, Georgia. Bell time is 7pm. If you can’t make the show don’t worry. I will have a link on this very blog where you can tune in and watch it via internet! I’ll reveal some of the matches that have already been signed, as well as, post the thoughts of some of the men who will be competing in those matches a little bit later on.

            But right now I’m going to talk about the APEX Championship. As you may remember The Mountain Man Wiley Jack was the reigning APEX Champion before the hiatus. I have come to the decision that Wiley Jack…will remain APEX Champion. I’m keeping the title lineage from the old regime intact. Dex Reed will still be recognize as the first ever APEX Champion and Wiley Jack, as mentioned before, the second and currently reigning APEX Champion.

            However, The APEX Tag Team Championships will be vacated. The reason being former Co-holder of the tag team belts, The Crimson Mask, has opted to retire from in ring competition and take up managerial duties for the tag team of the new Crimson Masks (Crimson Mask II & Crimson Mask III).  To determine new APEX Tag Team Champions there will be a league style series starting at the anniversary show on the 29^th consisting of five teams. Those teams include The Pike’s Basin Outlaws, Onyx, The Midnight Warriors, The Working Guys, and The New Crimson Masks.

            Earlier today I got the opinions of some of the teams about getting the opportunity to compete in the Tag Team Championship series…

Colt Cassidy:                       You know something McCoy, I’ve been getting a lot of people coming up to me and asking where exactly is Pike’s Basin? They say they’ve never even heard of it!

Masked McCoy:               Sounds like they need some more schoolin’.

Colt Cassidy:                       Yeah! But I still kept my cool. I figured they just weren’t that educated in cities and towns and what not. So I just went ahead and told them what state Pike’s Basin is in.

Masked McCoy:               That should settle it.

Colt Cassidy:                       Nope! When I told them Pike’s Basin was in the state of good ole’ New Austin, They acted like they had no idea what I was talking about! That’s when I told them to just forget where we are from! All that matters is what we are about! Tell’em McCoy!

The Crimson Masks Promo

The Crimson Mask:         So I decide to step aside to let my protégés take over and they see fit to take the titles away because of it. Well, I could get angry over this, I could protest. But I see this as an opportunity; yet another chance to show the world what my training and knowledge can achieve. I have molded these two into near perfect wrestling machines…

Crimson Mask II:              …That’s right! We…

The Crimson Mask:         …Shut up! You will speak when I tell you to! As I was saying, I have molded these two in my own image. Even though I am no longer in the ring, my knowledge, my strategy, my very wrestling essence will be. Through them The Crimson Mask will live on.

                                                Other matches that will take place at the anniversary show will include an Acro division triple threat match. For those who don’t remember, The Acro division is the Junior heavyweight division of APEX. The wrestlers competing include Warden Epps, who is fresh off his strong second round showing at The Rising Star Cup Tournament, Andres Valiente who also competed in the Rising Star Cup and is looking to make a name for himself and The Emerald Dragon. Each man is looking to stake their claim as the top dog in the Acro division after former champion Pyro Dean left to pursue opportunities in the FPCPP. Another match signed for the 29^th is a special hardcore challenge match requested by new comer Rhett Ruckus. Ruckus is challenging any man willing to accept his challenge of a no time limit, no DQ match. Who will he be facing? We’ll have to find out the 29^th.

            That’s not all APEX fans. As par with the mission of the new APEX there will also be a variety of matches that will appeal to fans of every style of professional wrestling. We will have an exciting Lucha match between Heroe Azteca and his nemesis Mal Mascara. Charlie Cage and Angus will square off in a Shoot rules match and of course the main event, Wiley Jack and Dex Reed will renew their rivalry as Jack defends his APEX Championship title against Dex Reed in the rubber match that hopefully decide once and for all who is the better man, the teacher or the student.
